Almost two years ago, we moved into our home and I'm just now finally touching our entryway. It was one of the first things I felt excited about and couldn't wait to make it simply welcoming. However, we all know life gets in the way, and my priority to do list continued to leave this space out, until now. Being home during this quarantine period has led me to many at home projects, with a side of wine, as I'm sure so many of us are.
What used to be in this corner? Since we moved in, I placed a wooden bench with throw pillows which in theory sure was nice, but not how I envisioned the space. It also had a sign that read, "Come climb all over me. Come jump off of me" that only my toddler could see, funny.

Next to our front door interior, I have simple wicker baskets that I attached onto the walls inserting even more eucalyptus because heck why not. I used double sided indoor mounting tape since the baskets are very light. Also yet another #TargetFind with this area rug which my dog may love more than I do. Target is currently having #sales for the upcoming Memorial Day Weekend. What are you waiting for. I usually swap out wreaths to hang from this hook on the door but I still haven't put our spring one up yet since taking the winter one down, oh and it's mid May. Just being honest here... #honestmama
Rewind, if you recall I said our entryway is ALMOST done. So what's next? I'd love to paint our front door, interior side, and swap out the ceiling light. One minor "problem", tall husband. I'll be on a hunt for the best light fixture that's tall hubby friendly. If you have a light recommendation, help a girl out. Thanks in advance.
Okay now back to changing the movie on Disney+ and picking up after my toddler while brainstorming dinner and nervously laughing at all the laundry I haven't done yet. #momlife
